The funding of the infrastructure activity is provided through the UM Infrastructure Programme, which is divided into infrastructure projects of UM research organisations: UM Rectorate, University Library Maribor, UM Faculty of Medicine, UM Faculty of Agriculture and Life Sciences, UM Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, UM Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, UM Faculty of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering, UM Faculty of Natural Sciences and Mathematics.  Head of the infrastructure programme is prof. dr. Dean Korošak.
