Leadership
The University of Maribor is represented by the Rector, who organizes, manages the work and operations of the University. The rector of the university ensures the legality of work and the efficiency of the university’s operations, and is elected for a term of four years.
The University of Maribor has five vice-rectors, four of whom (except the vice-rector for student affairs) can replace the rector. In accordance with the rector’s authorization, the vice-rectors are in charge of individual areas.
