APPLICATION PROCEDURE

Due to a cybersecurity emergency, the University of Maribor has had to reorganize the application procedure for Erasmus+ students for the upcoming summer semester of 2024/2025. On 23 October, our systems were subject to a cyberattack, which caused significant disruptions. We are gradually restoring operations, but it will take some time to fully re-establish all services.

Our official e-mail addresses are now working, so you can resume communication with us via incoming.erasmus@um.si.

The new application deadline is 15 December.

 

Students who have submitted their application documents to incoming.erasmus@um.si by October 23, 2024, at 12:00 noon can expect to receive their Acceptance Letter in the following days.

Other student, please follow the instructions below to apply for Erasmus+ at the University of Maribor for the summer semester of 2024/25.

ERASMUS+ STUDY

A. Document submission for registered students

Students who are already registered in our StudentExchange system and have our version of the Learning Agreement (LA) should submit their LA along with the following four documents:

  • EMŠO
  • GDPR Statement
  • Language Certificate
  • Transcript of Records

B. Document submission for students, who are not registered yet

  1. Registration
    Students who are not yet registered in the StudentExchange system must first complete the necessary forms available at the following link: https://forms.office.com/e/PjKM4GTPzu.

  2. Access to the Course Catalogue
    While our official web pages are down, you can access the course catalogue through this temporary link:  KA131 – Study

    Here you will also find all the necessary documents, including the Learning Agreement (LA).

    You have to complete the LA. We can accept your home institution’s version of the LA. The course names and codes must be exactly the same as those in the course catalogue, and the ECTS credits must also be the same. Your Learning Agreement must be signed by you and approved by your home institution before submission.

    Normally, Erasmus students can select courses from two different faculties at the University of Maribor. Due to the current situation, Erasmus students can choose courses from only one faculty.

  3. Transcript of Records and Language Certificate
    Students must submit their Transcript of Records and a Language Certificate demonstrating at least a B1 level of English.

  4. GDPR and EMŠO documents
    Please sign the GDPR document and complete the EMŠO form. All five documents (LA, EMŠO, GDPR Statement, Language Certificate, and Transcript of Records) must be sent to incoming.erasmus@um.si.

C. Acceptance Letter and confirmed Learning Agreement

Once your courses have been approved at the end of the application process, you will receive an official Acceptance Letter and a confirmed version of your Learning Agreement.

ERASMUS+ TRAINEESHIP AT THE FACULTY OF HEALT SCIENCES AND FACULTY OF MEDICINE

  1. Registration
    Students who are not yet registered in the StudentExchange system must first complete the necessary forms available at the following link: https://forms.office.com/e/ADC32AVvn6
  2. Access to the Course Catalogue

While our official web pages are down, you can access the course catalogue through this temporary link:  KA131 – Traineeship

You have to complete the LA for Traineeship. We accept your home institution’s version of the LA. The course names and codes must be exactly the same as those in the course catalogue, and the ECTS credits must also be the same. Your Learning Agreement must be signed by you and approved by your home institution before submission.

ACCOMMODATION

As in previous years, we will provide accommodation for Erasmus+ students. Places in student dormitories will be available from mid-December. Students who receive an official Acceptance Letter will have the opportunity to stay in the student dormitories of the University of Maribor.
